Choosing The Perfect Vows
Probably the most romantice part about the ceremony – besides the first kiss – are the wedding vows. The vows are a symbol of your love to each other – which is why you need to think carefully exactly what you want to say to each other. There are basically two routes you can take. You can either recite the traditional vows or you can make your own.
Going with the traditional vows leaves you more room to worry about all the other details that you need to set up. They will always be romantic and sentimental making them a good choice for anyone.
Writing your vows is not neccessarliy more romantic than using the traditional ones. It really all depends on what the bride and groom write. As long as you write what is exactly in your heart and what you feel you can be garunteed that he/she will love it.
If you feel uncomfortable with how it sounds than run it by the best man and maid of honor. Even your parents would be a great choice to go to for help. Just make sure that the person you trust to help you doesn’t leak to anyone what you will say because it will spoil the surpise and the mood.
