Dressing The Bridesmaids
Choosing what the groomsmen will wear is easy. They will wear suits that are identical to the groom – but also different. However, when it comes to choosing what your bridesmaids wear that can be a different matter. There are a few things to keep in mind when trying to choose the right dresses.
1. Color Scheme – You always want your bridesmaids to wear colors that match the colors of your wedding. If the colors you have decorated are red and gold than they should wear one or both of these colors.
2. Distinguish Maid Of Honor – You always want your Maid of Honor to look different than the rest of the bridesmaids so that everyone in attendance will know who she is.
3. Remember It’s All About You – This is your day so don’t let anyone tell you what you should choose. There are many bridesmaids who will try to persuade the bride into letting them pick their own dresses – even if you don’t like it. You want them to be comfortable – but you need to remember that this is your special day and you get to call the shots.
