Finding The Right Photographer

Having someone who will take high quality pictures at your wedding is an important and difficult thing to do at times. You want someone who can take great pictures – but who doesn’t charge you tons of money. Because of this you want to make sure that you interview many different photographers to see who will be the best and who you can afford.

Also remember that you give yourself enough time for this so that you can book them early. Here are a few important questions to ask during an interview.

1. What packages are offered?
2. How many photos are included in each package?
3. Are the “proofs” yours to keep?
4. Is there a set number of reprints you must order?
5. What is the cost for additional time or photos?
6. How much is the deposit and when is it due?
7. When is the balance due?
8. Is there a travel charge?
9. Are the negatives available to purchase?
10. If so, do you have to wait a specified time before you can purchase them?
11. Ask to view their collection of photos
